Giveth offers GIV rewards (called “GIVbacks”) to donors who give to verified projects. In order to become “verified” a project needs to prove that it is providing a public good (offering free, non - excludable, non-rivalrous value to their community), and that is has a history of impact and reputation at stake.

Verified projects benefit from donor rewards and enhanced visibility on Giveth.

How to Apply for Verification

  1. First check to see if your project meets the requirements for becoming verified. If it does, apply!
  2. To initiate the verification process, sign into Giveth and go to your project’s page.
  3. Click the “Verify your Project” button and fill out the required information.
  4. The Giveth verification team will review applications on a first-come-first serve basis. It may take up to 2 weeks until a verdict is reached.

The more information your project provides on the form the better, including links to your social media accounts, possible YouTube channel, and any other evidence that can validate your work.

Our team will look into your project's milestones, history, and the impact it has achieved thus far. Assessing a project's history and impact is important for Giveth to confirm that the project has undertaken meaningful actions and is committed to their mission.
