Donating 101

  1. To check out & support the participating projects from QF Rounds on Giveth visit the QF round hub: https://qf.giveth.io/qf
  2. Projects participating in the round accept a wide variety of ERC-20 tokens allowing donations with different tokens.
  3. In order for your donation to qualify for matching, you need to select the QF round you want your donation to be part of. Some projects may be in more than one QF round at a time, and some QF rounds may only support certain networks.
  4. Select the token and the amount you would like to donate. Each QF round will have a minimum donation amount for matching.
  5. Once you've entered the amount, you can click on DONATE, at which point your wallet will prompt you to validate the transaction. Learn more on how to donate.
  6. When you are making a donation to a project, an estimated matching amount corresponding to your donation will be shown. This is a rough estimate based on the donations made so far in the round and it excludes the fraud analysis, so the true final matching amounts will be different.

Anyone can donate on Giveth, however, in order for a donation to qualify to be matched during quadratic funding rounds, the donor must meet the Matching Eligibility for Donations requirements.

Recurring Donations

With Giveth recurring donations, you can simply set your donation once and forget about it. This can be done anytime, including during Quadratic Funding Rounds.

If your recurring donation meets the eligibility requirements for a given QF round (the amount donated is above the minimum, the network used is eligible for matching, you have passed qf-eligibility etc.), it will be included in the matching calculations whenever possible.
