Quadratic funding is a great opportunity to get your project some extra funding through the matching pool, but your community’s donations are what really matter as they decide how much of the matching pool your project gets!
Promoting your projects during QF Rounds is key to attracting donors and unlocking your fundraising success.
Before Getting Started
- Make sure that your Giveth project clearly explains what you are working to achieve and why people should donate. An optimized project includes:
- A clear project description.
- Photos, videos, and/or valid external links to provide visual context.
- A statement detailing how you will use the funds.
Post Post Post!
- Share your project link wildly across social media!
- Twitter/X, Farcaster, Instagram, Discord, Telegram, Facebook - wherever you community is, be sure to let them know you are raising funds.
- Don’t forget to include a link to your Giveth project in your posts.
- Consistently update your audience with milestones, timelines, and other relevant information like upcoming X spaces you will be participating, time remaining to donate, & more.
- Provide clear instructions on how people can support you, or make use of Giveth’s tutorials on how to donate.
Leverage the power of network effects!
- Cross-promoting with other projects in the round can help get your work in front of new audiences.
- Don’t forget to join “shill spaces” hosted by Giveth on X (Twitter).
Do outreach!
- Reach out to your family, friends, and communities through DMs, group chats, and word of mouth.
- Encourage them to donate!
- Ask them to boost your communications with likes, retweets or by sharing even further!
