Before your community can really start using Praise, they may want to know how it will benefit them personally and the community collectively. They may want to see how Praise, quantification, and distribution work. Seeing a sample of the analysis report also helps the community better understand the kinds of insights they can expect once it gets rolling.

Getting Praise off to a good start will require the community to be excited about it!

When we demo Praise to a new community, here is the agenda we’ve used:

  • How Praise works
• Demonstrate Praise
  • How to activate and dish praise (see using Praise)
  • How to write good praise (see writing excellent praise)
• Demonstrate quantification and show analysis report
  • Show the quantification dashboard, show how quantifying works
  • Share analysis report sample (analysis report from the TEC)
• Share Reward team decisions.

Get the community to activate & start using Praise

During the demo,  invite the community to activate their Praise accounts right then and there. All they have to do is type /activate in the #Praise channel on your Discord server! (Or whatever channel Praise is accepted).

You can even encourage the community to start praising right away!
