Spaces can be a powerful tool to engage with the community. It is a democratized public discussion open to anyone interested. It’s also an excellent way to establish authority in a field, and share updates around relevant information.
- Create a conversation: organic interaction between a Twitter Space is much appreciated. Try to create an atmosphere that incentivize a natural conversation between participants!
- Add your personal inputs: Depending on the topic, prepare some personal stories that could add human value to the discussion.
- Don’t follow a script! of course prepare the structure and questions. But this should be a guide more than a script. Pay attention to the conversation and don’t be afraid to skip some of the questions.
- Try to give everyone a voice: sometimes participants tend to monopolize the conversation. Make sure all your guests have time to talk and express their thoughts.
- The 2 hosts rule: is recommended to have one person leading the conversation (host) and a co-host that supports and facilitate if’s needed.
